Debating 100 of our favorite albums of all time
It started as a game: can three (sometimes four) old friends convince each other of the greatness of their record collections? We ended up talking about 100 of the best albums of all time, discussing our favorite artists, the music, telling stories, and explaining why certain records mean so much to us.
When I subscribed to and started reading Exile on Newbury in Nov-Dec 2022, the pitches in my inbox all related to non-music topics. Returning to reading after a couple month hiatus of busy work time, I see pitches related to 100 best albums of all time, with archives that date back months and months. I thoroughly approve and share some musical taste, but (1) in what dream state did I miss all those music posts when I first started reading?, and (2) will you continue to pitch on other topics? I don’t see any of those non-music in the “About” summary of archives in the Substack.
