Love it. Anyone who has read past issues knows that both Ken and Mitch have a profound hate for heavy metal. CJ (bless his metal heart) knowing this pitches an album which is considered to be one of the seminal works within the genre. Mitch and Ken, knowing that they can’t bash an album revered by many metal heads give it a pass and instead talk about truffles and biker fashion, and their only real commentary on the music is “crunchy guitars”

Are you praising or complaining, I can’t tell?

A little of both…disappointed that you both took the easy out by playing the not my cup of tea card, but praising the creative ways in which you did so (and I can confirm Mitch’s love of the Village People). Hence the flaw with the current EONS format in voting albums in/out of the collection versus the previous ratings format. You’ve forced yourselves to make a binary decision on whether or not an album is great or not, where most probably fall somewhere in between for various reason. The reality is that few albums are “perfect albums”, many have the occasional clunker or fill - which is fine, and it’s ok to not like the same music as someone else - that’s what headphones are for.

I, for one, find all of the screaming absolutely delightful. And when they play all of those guitars loud and fast at the same time...what a treat!

Don’t forget the thundering drums and bass

A few clarifications:

CJ is both a metal head and a Jeep owner, so be careful if you see him on the road and he's two-finger waving and devil horning at the same time.

I adore the chocolate balls, it's the gross, dirty mushrooms I hate.
